MOBILE DEPOSIT
Getting Started
To use Mobile Deposit you need to have a West Michigan Community Bank checking or savings account, online banking and the West Michigan Community Bank Mobile® app* installed on your smartphone or tablet.
The cut-off time for Mobile Deposits is 7:00 PM EST on Business Days.
Mobile Deposit is subject to terms and conditions and deposit limits.
ENROLLMENT
The first time that you go to the Deposit Checks menu option in the West Michigan Community Bank Mobile® app you will need to enroll and activate this feature.
1. Log in to your West Michigan Community Bank Mobile® app and select Deposit from the main Dashboard screen, or from the left menu list select Deposit checks.2. To begin the activation process for mobile deposit, select the account(s) you would like to make deposits into.
3. You will receive an Enrollment submitted message. Select OK.

MAKING A MOBILE DEPOSIT
1. Log into your West Michigan Community Bank Mobile app and select Deposit from the main Dashboard screen, or from the left menu list select Deposit checks.
2. Select Make a deposit.3. Enter the Amount and Continue.
Note: Clicking on Deposit limits under the amount will tell you the specific limits for your online account. Also, in accordance with your online banking agreement, you must securely store the original check for 30 days to verify the check has been credited to your account, then securely destroy the original check.
4. Select the account for the mobile deposit.
5. Take a picture of the front of the check. If the picture is clear, click Continue. If it’s not clear, select Retake for another picture, until you have a clear image.
6. Capture a picture of the back of the endorsed check. The endorsement must contain your signature and ‘For mobile deposit only.’ If the picture is clear, click Continue. If not, Retake the picture until you have a clear image.
7. Confirm the details of your deposit and Submit.
8. You will receive a deposit confirmation message, as well as an email letting you know that you have completed a mobile deposit.
9. Once the deposit has been submitted, you will see your recent activity and the status of your deposit(s).
VIEWING REMOTE DEPOSITS
You may view your mobile deposits made from the West Michigan Community Bank Mobile® app in your online banking under the Remote Deposit menu option.
NOTE: This is not to be confused with West Michigan Community Bank’s Remote Deposit Capture or mRDC product, where checks are processed using a check scanner or via the mRDC app. The Remote deposits menu option is only referring to checks deposited using the West Michigan Community Bank Mobile® App.* West Michigan Community Bank does not charge a fee for using West Michigan Community Bank Mobile® deposit for consumer accounts; however, your wireless carrier’s standard web access and text message rates may still apply.
